Private memorial services are planned for Frank J. Hays, 78, of 218 South Main Street.
A native of Clark County, he was retired chief right-of-way agent for the state Transportation Cabinet and a member of First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ
Survivng are his wife, Sylvia Solheim Hays; two sons, Benjamin Johnson Hays, Naples, Florida and Donald Cameron Hays, Lexington, Kentucky; a daughter, Catherine Hays Sterchi, Prarie Village, Kansas; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was the son of the late J. Smith Hays, Jr. and Mildred Johnson Hays.
Friends may call at the residence after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to First Christian Church, Discilples of Christ, East Hickman Street.
