Classification: Query
I am looking for the ancestors/ parents of Josia B. Brewster or Bruster born in Jessamine Co. Kentucky married before 1840 to Murietta Jereta (last name unknown) born abt. 1819 of Arkansas.
Children
Parmelia b.1840 or 1841 Natchitoches Parish, La.
James b. 1843 Sabine Parish , La.
Daniel b. 1845 "
Gidean b. 1847 "
Henry b. 1850 "
Hiram b. Feb. 6 1852 Parish, La. d. May 7, 1942 m. Cynthia Ann Defee b. Mar. 26,1857
d. Sept. 25, 1904.
William b. 1855 Natchitoches Parish, La. m. Rebecca Elizabeth (? Isgetta?)
Andrew b. 1857 Natchitoches or Sabine Parish,

I have an account that Hiram, William and possible Andrew were orphaned at an early age (possibly age between 8 & 10 yrs old) in Lousiana. Hiram was raised by Aunt and Uncle Wes and Sally Byrd. Because Hiram was too young to be a soldier he was a water boy in the Civil War. Upon some very very basic research but not proven as yet. I believe Hiram's brothers Joseph and Gideon did serve as soldiers in the Confederate Army but enlisted at different times. Joseph may have even be killed or taken prisoner. Gideon marries later but there is no further mention of Joseph as far as I have can tell (which is not much or fact). If am wrong please let me know.
I would appreciate any and all help with this. . My parents are almost 80 and my mom has had a mini stroke...I would like to solve this and get the answers she has been looking for for my dad.
Thanks
