William Tivis Kidd, 87, of Webbville, Ky., died Monday night in a Louisa hospital after an extended illness.
He was born July 25, 1877, at Webbville, a son of the late Jim and Sarah Kitchen Kidd. A farmer, he was a member of the Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday from Smith's Chapel, Webbville, with the Rev. Jett Blevins officiating. Burial will following in Smith Cemetery at Webbville.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Mima Gambill Kidd; four daughters, Mrs. Ted Adams, of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Otto Saunders, Ironton, Ohio, Mrs. Jack Novak, Columbus, O., and Mrs. Raymond Hicks, Webbville; seven sons, Wm. Claude and Orville Kidd, of Columbus, Ralph Kidd, Dayton, O., Ernest Shannon and Otto Kidd, Louisville, Ky., Raymond and Carlos Kidd, Webbville; two sisters, Mrs. Vernie Sparks, Plain City, O., and Mrs. Ella Boggs, Pickton, Ohio; two brothers, Harmon Kidd, Huntington, of W.Va., and John Kidd, of Columbus; 25 grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Young Funeral Home and will be taken to the church one hour before the services
