Alma Seeley, 99, of the Saratoga Community in Lyon County, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at 12:40 p.m. at Caldwell Medical Center in Princeton, following a short illness.
Born Feb. 13, 1914, in Lyon County, a daughter of the late Dennie and Jettie Buchanan Cash, she was a homemaker and member of Saratoga United Methodist Church and charter member of the Saratoga Homemakers Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Marshall “Red” Seeley; and a brother, James Cash.
Survivors include a son, Edward Seeley of Eddyville; a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and James Glass of Louisville; three grandchildren, Chad Glass and wife Jaree, Kent Glass and Justin Seeley and wife Drew; and three great-grandchildren, Tyler Glass,Will Glass and Sam Glass.
Funeral services for Mrs. Seeley will be conducted Friday, March 8, at 11 a.m. at Saratoga United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve McVay officiating.
Burial will follow in Saratoga Church Cemetery. (Lyon Co., Ky.)
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at
Morgan’s Funeral Home and 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Friday at the church.
