Bob Paul, 88, of Kalispell, Mont., and formerly of Lyon County, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at his home, following a short illness.
A son of the late Asa Irving and Grace Angel Paul, he was an electrician with the Navy for 22 years, a World War II and Korean veteran; a member of the American Legion, VFW, was a Scottish Rite Mason; and was a driver for the DAV van.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mona Lee Honey Paul; a brother, Lloyd Paul; and two sisters, Leona Shaffer and Margaret Graves.
Survivors include his four sons, Robert I. Paul Jr. and wife Linda of Billings, Mont., Edward Paul of Eddyville, Frederick Paul of Hopkinsville and Joseph Paul of Lexington; three grandchildren, Robert III and wife Erin, Angela and Brittani; three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Colby and Aubrey Paul, and a sister, Donna Sue Waymore of Crown Pointe, Ind.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 1 p.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville with the Rev. Dale Ford officiating.
Burial will follow in Friendship Church Cemetery in Lyon County.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
