I.V. Faulkner Jr., 86, of Kuttawa, died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013, at 11:25 a.m. at his home.
A son of the late I.V. Sr. and Clarsie Ingram Faulkner, he was a member of Israel Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Eddyville and retired from farming in Lyon County.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Lucille Mash Faulkner; a son, William M. Faulkner; a daughter, Clarsie Elizabeth Faulkner; two sisters, Lola Parker and Gladys Woodman; and a brother, Lawrence Faulkner.
Survivors include five daughters, Gertrude Ann Gray, Gladys L. Tyler, Marie Edwards, Eva Mae Simmons and Ivena Sue Faulkner, all of Kuttawa; a son, Samuel Faulkner of Owensboro; and a sister, Cordie Sims of St. Louis, Mo.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Dec. 30, at 11 a.m. at Dunn’s Funeral Home in Eddyville with the Rev. James O. Edwards officiating.
Burial will follow in Kuttawa Cemetery.
