Louise Waters, 81, of Eddyville, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 12:26 p.m. at Crittenden County Hospital in Marion.
Born in the Bend of the Rivers community in Lyon County, to the late Mitchell and Vearlene Teague Walters, she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Crayne.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Arthur Rye Waters, in 2001; an infant son, Larry Arthur Waters, in 1951.
Survivors include three sons, Raymond Waters of Fredonia, Roger Waters of Eddyville, and Kenneth Waters of Kuttawa; two daughters, Kathy Stone of Fredonia, and Linda Brazell of Eddyville; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 18, at 1 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Crayne, with the Rev. Jerrell White and the Rev. Roger Waters officiating.
Burial will follow in Glenn’s Chapel Cemetery in Lyon County.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Dunn's Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. to the funeral hour Saturday at the church.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to Gideon’s International.
Dunn’s Funeral Home in Eddyville is in charge of arrangements.
