WAVERLY: Hager Verlin Risner, 75, died 10:56 a.m. Sunday, DEcember 11, 2011
Bistol Village, Waverly, OHIO.

Hager was born 6 January, 1936 in Magoffin County, Kentucky of the late Ernie and Ina Mae (Hensley) Risner.

On 17 September, 1956 he was united in marriage to Joann (Zirkles) Risner who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Bryan Risner and wife, Marsha of Chillicothe, OH; two daughters, Jo Young and husband, Faron of Piketon, OH and Robin Ramos of Merced, CA; seven grandchildren, Seth Risner and wife, Ashlee, Justin Risner and wife, Jessica, and Joseph Risner all of Chillicothe, OH, Anna Marie Young of Piketon, OHIO, Marsha Ann Palka and husband, Charlie of Shreveport, LA, Sabrina and Thomas Ramos of Merced, CA; two great grandchildren, Trinity and Nyla Risner; two brothers, Wallen Risner and wife, Susie of Mansfield, OH and Paul Risner of Bainbridge, OH; and three sisters, Darlene Blackman of Mansfield, OH, Glossie Gaskins of Litchfield, KY and Lucy Eismon and husband, Will of Lancaster, OH.

In addition to his parents; five brothers, Ernie Jr., Dexter, Wilburn, Warnie and Troy; and two sisters, Della McMillen and Marie Hanners preceded Hager in death.

Hager was a retired Construction Carpenter for Union Local #437, Portsmouth, OHIO.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, 14 December, 2011 at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME in Waverly, OH. Burial will follow in Gardner Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Boyer Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service hour on Wednesday.
