This is an obit from
COURT ORDER BOOK M
page 56-April Court, 1833

....departed this life on the 12th day of July, 1832, at his residence in the county of Mason, and that Elizabeth Cole, who has assigned the annexed Power of Atty to John Bean, is the widow of the said Benjamin Cole.

Benjamin Cole, born 1750, died 7-12-1832, enlisted from Fredericktown, MD in 1778, married in Washingtonn Co MD, 11-15-1784, Elizabeth LONG born 1760 and was living as late as 7-1-1848. See Pension Claim W 3000, MD Bounty Land Warrants 13441-160-55.
