Lindsey T. Young, well-known and highly respected among the colored circles of this city, (Zanesville, Ohio) died at his home on Putnam avenue at 5 o'clock Thurday morning (13 Sept 1906). His age was 55 and death was the result of kidney trouble from which he had been a sufferer for some time.
The deceased was born in Mason County, Kentucky, but most of his life was spent as a resident of Zanesville, where he has been engaged in the contracting business.
A widow (Fannie) and nine children mourn the loss of a husband and father.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Union Baptist church on Eighth street at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, after which interment will be made in Greenwood cemetery. Rev. A. M. Thomas will officiate.
