Normally the case was referred to in the legal reference was what I was referring to. And that will often give you a reference as to what the case was about in a general way, a debt or a fight over something, demands for property to be returned. I have read pages of court records and at the end had no more idea as to what they were about then when I started simply because they are mere minutes of what took place in the briefest fashion. I did go through Michael Cooks Mercer county Court records, to see if an event between them occurred prior to or after that entry but there was nothing, so this was a one time thing. They were not living on the same road, so apparently it wasn't a neighbor dispute, but something visual occurred as witnessed by the brother.
