I am looking for John RUSSELL (parents unknown) who married Nancy CALVERT, born NC, parents John D. CALVERT (father Frank CALVERT, SC) and Jane RUSSELL, believed to be from NC or VA. The Calvert's lived in Barren County at one point. There are six known children out of twelve: Mary b 1811, (married Fletcher GATEWOOD); Elizabeth (married Wm. DAVESHER); Nancy b 1803 (married John RUSSELL); Jesse b 1822; John J. b 1826 and James Wesley b 1828 (married
Elizabeth S. RITTER). Nancy and John RUSSELL were buried in Allen Co. They had six known children: John Colbert b 1820 (went to MO and married Anna AMOS); Joseph (went to TN); Samuel (went to GA); Nancy b 1829 (married E. Erastus ELPIN); James Frank b 1822 (married Margaret DOSSEY and Sarah L. PAYNE); and Susan b 1827 (went to MO and married Fleming PITCHFORD).
