Surnames: CARTER, LUCE, EVERTON, NEWMAN, RHOADS
I'm interested in those early years of Muhlenberg Co., when the county was first formed. There was William CARTER and his family, William LUCE and David LUCE, Thomas EVERTON, Thomas NEWMAN and several RHOADES families. Some of these people served under Captain Alney McLEAN during the War of 1812 then moved on to Spencer and Warrick County, Indiana, by about 1816. Has anyone researched this period? Would love to know about the lifestyles or any stories from this period.

Thanks,

Grady Carter
