I realize this post was so long ago, but I wanted to comment in case anyone who is searching in the future stumbles across this thread. You've probably, by now, found all the information you were seeking but through research I believe that Lucinda Lewis was married to Asbury Witt. In the 1910 census, Asbury & Lucinda are living in Lee County with her son James, who is very close in age to Asbury. Lucinda is listed as having been married four times. In later census records, James' last name is listed as Hornsby. He lives with his mother well into his 50's.

Nancy & Lucinda's dad, Mathias was, I believe, a brother to my ggg grandfather, Joseph Lewis. I'm early into researching this line, but I believe they were the sons of William Perry Lewis & Martha Patsy Fields. They were both, along with a brother, Delaney, Union Soldiers during the Civil War. They were enlisted in 1863 as Privates in the 14th Ky Cavalry Company "M".
