My grandmother was American Elizabeth POTTS (7 Oct 1852-3 Feb 1897). She was born in Powell Co. KY to Albert M. POTTS (1824- ) & Elvita VIVION (1824- ). Siblings were Thomas Jefferson (1846- ), Martha (1848- ), Milton Vivion (1850- ). Both parents were dead by the time America was 10 years old & she was living in home of Niblick family. Does anyone know the circumstances surrounding the deaths of the parents? Epidemic? Indians? Is there a death record of that era?
What about the siblings? Does anyone know about their deaths or descendants? America m. Milton Hervey VIVION (27 Sep 1839-26 July 1889) of Clark Co., KY, moved to Union Co. & eventually to Denton Co., TX where both of them died.
