I am looking on information on my great grandmother, Margaret Mary Goforth. She was born in Pulaske County Kentucky in 1882 and married John Ridener in 1897. I have come to a dead end with this branch of the family tree.

I suspect Margaret's father was Elias Sterling Goforth, who was born in Claiborne County Tennessee between 1845 and 1850. I know Margaret's parents were born in Tennessee, and she named her firstborn son Sterling, which is what leads me to believe there is a connection.
