Confused by the Browning Line :-(

Surnames: Browning, Worthington, Ferrin, Glascock, Edwards
As best I can tell my line is as follows: Jeremiah Browning (Sr.?) had son Benjamin (wife Malissa "Prissy" Ferrin)who had son William Harrison (wife Adeline Worthington) who had a son John Harrison (wife Clemmie Glascock) who had a son Jesse.
Where I get confused: there are so many Jeremiah Brownings! I believe the "original" came to Bracken County KY from MD after serving in the American Revolution (1777) but it seems he had several wives? Or am I looking at the wrong Jeremiah? Jesse B Browning was my grandfather (born 1899 or 1900 in Bracken Co. to John H. & Clem.) I also found several "nicknames" as in William Harrison went by "Harrison" or perhaps "Callie" instead. And there are multiple Benjamin's as well. :-( John H., Clem & my fathers father Jess relocated to Vevay, Indiana around 1901-1907 but I think their daughter Esma (or Essie) Browning stayed & married an Edwards. John H. died in 1916 & I believe is buried in Vevay but I've found conflicting info for William Harrison (perhaps died in Vevay but buried in KY?) I traveled to Bracken Co. to research but discovered that most Browning info seems to be in Pendleton &/or Roberston Counties in KY. Any/all help appreciated. ~Thank you
