I have some information that I have gathered over the last two years. There is dispute whether Jacob's father is David or Daniel. Dana Mireles did some articles for the Virginia Genealogist that cast doubt on David, but I haven't fully looked into it yet. Most info on David is from Rev. Warriner's book on the New England Warriner's which included some info on David Warinner. My great grandfather was Hiram Porter Warinner m. to Cora Maybelle Andrew(s) Warinner.

Descendants of James Jacob Warinner

Generation No. 1

1. JAMES JACOB2 WARINNER (DAVID/DANIEL?) was born Abt. 1750 in Henrico, VA/England?, and died Bef. March 26, 1826 in Casey County, KY. He married ANN "ANNIE" POLLARD in VA. She was born Abt. 1750 in Buckingham County, VA, and died Bef. August 30, 1837 in Casey County, KY.

Notes for JAMES JACOB WARINNER:

The following is an excerpt from the Appendix of a book titled The Warriner Family of New England Origin being a History and Genealogy of William Warriner ... by Rev. Edwin Warriner, Albany, NY, Joel Munsell's Sons, Publishers, 1899, pg. 247.

James Warinner, of Virginia, and Some of His Descendants

This man's father was probably David Warinner, sketched in the foregoing pages, who had a son James; but of this identity we have no absolute proof. Robert D. Warriner, of Carterville, Mo., says the family came from England at an early day. James was born in Va., and was a young man at the close of the Revolution. He married Annie Pollard. They had four sons and two daughters, named respectively, James, Iverson, William, Elizabeth, Mary and Jacob, all born in Virginia. The elder James Warinner, of Va., accompanied by his son Jacob, emmigrated to Kentucky in the early part of this century. (1800s)
