Hi,

You were correct in saying that William Warinner is the son of Iverson L. Warinner. The name is spelled with one r and 2 n's. Attached is a partial genealogy (some info may be incorrect, but the best I have so far). My line is through this Iverson L. Warinner too (my great great grandfather was Jasper Newton Warinner).

Descendants of David Warinner

Generation No. 1

1. DAVID1 WARINNER was born Bef. 1745 in England/Buckingham County, VA?, and died in Prob. VA. He married ELIZABETH MURPHY in Virginia. She died in Prob. VA.

James Warinner, of Virginia, and Some of His Descendants

This man's father was probably David Warinner, sketched in the foregoing pages, who had a son James; but of this identity we have no absolute proof. Robert D. Warriner, of Carterville, Mo., says the family came from England at an early day. James was born in Va., and was a young man at the close of the Revolution. He married Annie Pollard. They had four sons and two daughters, named respectively, James, Iverson, William, Elizabeth, Mary and Jacob, all born in Virginia. The elder James Warinner, of Va., accompanied by his son Jacob, emigrated to Kentucky in the early part of this century. (1800s)

She stated that the soldier lived in Buckingham Co, VA during the Revoluationary War and that he died in October of 1827.
