Angela,
Isacher's father was Stephen Arnold Ritchey, his grandfather was John and his greatgrandfather was William. William with no wife and three sons, John, James and William sailed aboard brigidare "freemason" from Dublin Ireland January 06, 1763 to Charleston South Carolina. William and John moved to Botetourt County Virginia.
William Ritchey b. abt. 1710 in Aberdeen Scotland married Charity (?). Their son John b. abt. 1740, probably in Ireland or Scotland, married Nancy Sarah Arnold.
The James Ritchey you mentioned was a brother of John and was married to Jane Arnold, Nancy Sarah Arnold's sister. In other words, the brothers John and James married sisters Nancy and Jane.
John and Nancy had Stephen Arnold Ritchey b. May 18, 1776 in Botetourt County Virginia. Stephen married Mary Martha Crawford. They had 8 children that I have found. Elijah, William, Samuel, John Wesley (my 3rd Great Grandfather), James, Obediah Rankin, Issachar(sic) Crawford (your 3rd Great Grandfather) and Lucinda.
The following are my miscellaneous and badly-in-need-of-organization notes.
Notes on John Ritchey (your 5th Great Grandfather):

On June 3, 1780 John wrote a will naming his children 3 sons James, Stephen and John. 2 daughters Mary and Unis.
After Johns death William Ritchey (Johns Brother) was appointed Guardian of the infants and orphan's of John Ritche: James, Stephen and John. Also daughters Eunice and Mary until they became 21 years of age.
Estate settled:
Estate of John Ritche settled 10 May 1785 in Court Botetourt Co. VA. Same day William and his brother James made executors of will. Will Book pages 122-123 Botetourt Co. VA.

Ordered that the court enter into band with the said guardian and John Arnold and Richard Cole his securities for performance of his office.
Note
John Arnold was his Uncle (Brother to his mother)

It is believed the other children lived with their mother or Uncle William.
