MURRELLS INLETS, S.C. - Edward Eugene Denham of Myrtle Beach died Feb. 20, 2007, in Charleston.
The Bowling Green, Ky., native was born Jan. 6, 1951. He was a son of Barbara Daniel Kirby of Bowling Green, who survives, and the late Roy W. Denham. He was lovingly raised by the late Vernon G. “Sonny” Kirby and his mother. Mr. Denham was an Air Force veteran and served during Desert Storm. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Bowling Green and an avid Atlanta Braves fan. His favorite pastime was playing with his grandson and bouncing his granddaughters on his knee.
Funeral is at 10 a.m. EST Saturday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery in Conway. Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. EST Friday at the funeral home.
