James Allen Dame, Jr., 40, of Slaughters died Thursday, July 22, in a work related accident at the Tyson Food Plant in Robards.
Mr. Dame was a Leadman/Assistant Supervisor for the River Valley Animal Foods of Tyson.
He had attended the Salvation Army Lodge Avenue Corp and he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his wife of ten years, Tina Osborne Dame; five sons, Christopher J. Cavins of Princeton, Indiana; James Allen Dame, III of Evansville, Indiana, Jonathon Scott Durbin, Jared Stephen Durbin and Travis Andrew Dame, all of Slaughters; one daughter, Misty Dame Clark, Evansville, Indiana; his parents, James A. and Geraldine Dame, Evansville, Indiana; one sister, Jerri McGillem, Princeton, Indiana and a granddaughter, Isabelle Nicole Wright, Princeton, Indiana.
Funeral services were held Monday morning at 11:00 from Muster Funeral Home in Calhoun.
Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sorgho.
