Maxine Tye Robinson, age 63, of West Alexandria, OH, formerly of New Lebanon, OH, went home to be with the Lord on December 18, 2006 at her home. Born April 12, 1943 in Wofford, KY to the late Rev. Fred & Jessie (Carroll) Tye. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Alexandria. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by daughter Paula R. Robinson on June 13, 1965: and brothers Larry Wayne Tye and Robert Tye. Survived by husband Denver P. Robinson whom she married July 18, 1964: sons & daughters-in-law Greg & Pat Robinson of Lewisburg, OH; and Paul W. & Glenette Robinson of West Alexandria: grandchildren Maria and Matthew, Brandon and Nick: brothers Charles and Freddie Tye of KY; and Gary Tye of TN: sisters Beverly Griffith, Barbara Sue Brown, Brenda Ellison, Patricia Tye, Gail Wilder and Debbie Tye all of KY; Faye Lawson of IN: numerous nieces and nephews: special friends Jerry and Betty Carter of New Lebanon. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM December 21, 2006 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens – 3377 US Rt. 35 – West Alexandria. Pastors Jerry Carter and Tim Hamilton presiding. Friends may call on the family from 5:00 – 8:00 PM December 20, 2006 at the Funeral Home. If desired, memorial contributions be made to the West Alexandria Fire Department. Interment Trissel Cemetery, New Lebanon.
