AWAITING ORDERS

Company E. Staying Close to the Armory at Madisonville

FULL ROSTER OF MEMBERS

Impatiently Waiting for the Call to Move Toward the Enemy

Company E. Kentucky State Guards with headquarters at Madisonville is full and overflowing with its old membership, many of which have recently re-enlisted, and men taken from the very large number that have offered to help fill the ranks. Great interest has been manifested at Madisonville, Earlington and throughout Hopkins and adjoining counties, and the recruits to Company E. come from various points in several counties, which have been indicated in part in the list below published. The exact postoffice of many of the men could not be located for the reason that the records of the company only give the county from which the man comes.
Lieutenant Paul P. PRICE will be very much missed from Earlington. In addition to Mr. PRICE there are a number of young men from Earlington among the new recruits. These are indicated in the list below. Several of them have been employes of the St. Bernard Coal Company, including Mr. PRICE, who has held the position of traveling salesman. That company has assured these young men that there will be a place for them when they return from service for their country.
All are full of patriotism and anxiously awaiting the call to arms, which it seems now may be deferred a few days.
Here is the complete list of Company E. as shown yesterday afternoon by the roster of the Company:
