ARTHUR DUNCAN, MANITOU, DIES
Arthur Ray Duncan, 55, state highway department employee, in ill health for the past four years and bedfast the last four months, died at his home in Manitou at 11:10 am Tuesday from a lung ailment.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Lena Duncan; two sons, Robert Duncan and William Duncan, all of Manitou; three brothers, Bunyan Duncan, Dock Duncan, both of Madisonville frd 2; Rev. Oscar Duncan, Manitou; four half-brothers, John Moody and Joe Moody, both of Detroit; Jeff Duncan and James Duncan, both of Manitou; two sisters, Mrs. John Harris, Nebo, and Mrs. Lawrence Clark, Manitou, and a granddaughter, Jo Ann Duncan, Manitou.
Mr. Duncan had been a member of Concord Baptist Church, near Manitou, for many years. Funeral services were conducted in the church at 3 p.m. today. Rev. C. A. Travis, Madisonville, officiated. Burial was in Union cemetery, near Nebo.
