Providence Man Dies In Business Section
Lem Potter Clayton, 64, Providence, dropped dead Monday morning in the business section of Pprovidence at 9 o'clock.
He is survived by four sons, John T., Vance, Bidwell, of Chicago, and Woodrow of Providence; four daughters, Fleta, Chicago, Mrs James Brooks, Detroit, Mrs Arley Villines, Dixon, and Miss Dorothy Clayton, of Providence; two brothers, Proctor Clayton, of Dixon, and Wright Clayton, Providence; two sisters, Mrs W T Mitchell, of Paducah, and Mrs Sallie Duncan, of Louisville.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Tirza church at Liberty. Burial will be in church cemetery. Elder Shain, of Madisonville, will officiate.
