Rev. T. T. Mc Connell Dead At Madisonville
Former Methodist Minister Served Number of Trigg County Churches
In speaking of the death of a Methodist minister who in days past had served a number of Trigg county churches as pastor, and who has many friends still living in the county, the Providence, Ky., Enterprise says:
The Rev. R. T. Mc Connell superanuated Methodist preacher, died at ten o'clock Monday night at his home in Madisonville after a protracted illness. He was the father of R. A. Mc Connell and Sam Mc Connell, who formerly resided here. A brother, Dr. J. D. Mc Connell, this city, preceded him several months ago. Those surviving are the widow, Clementine, four children by a former marriage, Will, Sam and Mrs. Lucille Rutherford, of Detroit, and ?. A. Mc Connell, of Princeton; three children who live at home Mary, Anna Ruth and Joe, a daughter, Naomi, who resides in Detroit, and another son, Omar, who is stationed with the U. S Marine Corps somewhere in China. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow. (Wednesday) afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist church in Marion. Burial will be in the Marion cemetery.
