Jeanie Hancock, age 75, of Cadiz, KY, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2011, at her residence in Cadiz, KY. Mrs. Hancock was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She retired from Lake Barkley State Resort Park where she worked as a Waitress. She is survied by her Husband of 58 years Bob Hancock, Cadiz, KY, Son & Daughter In Law Bobby & Kit Hancock, Louisville, KY, Daughter & Partner Kathy Knight, Paducah, KY, Brother James Hammonds, Sisters Alma Jane Sinks, Clarksville, TN, Ruby Puckett, Ashland City, TN, Margie Lee Holland, Madisonville, KY and Barbara Noschese, Cadiz, KY, Grandchild Todd Martyn & Kara Hancock, Louisville, KY and Great Grandchild Heidi Hancock, Louisville, KY. She was preceded in death by her Parents James Henry & Addie Jane Hammonds, Brothers Henry Norris Hammonds, Thomas Hammonds, Douglas Hammonds, J. O. Hammonds & James Thomas Wallace, Sisters Georgia Hibbs, Mary Hale, Virgie Choate, Rachel Steen & Omega "Sally" Hancock. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM till 7:00 PM Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 19, 2011 with the Reverend Mark Thweatt officiating. Burial will follow at Ky Veteran's Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY.
