CADIZ, Ky.--Services for James "Dick" Redick, 71, of Cadiz will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bethesda United Methodist Church. The Rev. Junior Heltsley will officiate, with burial in Mitchell Cemetery in Trigg County.
He died at 3:15 p.m. Saturday at Shady Lawn Nursing Center of Cadiz.
He was a retired brick mason and farmer, and a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Iduma Oakley Redick; a son, James Randall Redick of Trigg County; two daughters, Beverly Alexander and Laura Thomas, both of Trigg County; a brother, Alfred "Shorty" Redick of Detroit; three sisters, Dardanella Durham of Dexter, Margaret Lancaster of Lamasco, and Betty Minton of Bowling Green; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother; and a sister. His parents were James Clarence and Lallie Lurline Sanders Redick.
