Henry Hughes Wolfe, 86, Chattanooga, Tenn., and formerly of Trigg County, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, at his home following a brief illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, with the Rev. James O. Hazelrigg officiating. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 Saturday, December 18, 2010 at the funeral home.
A native of Trigg County, he was born March 30, 1924, the son of the late Napoleon Bonaparte Wolfe and Eva Lorraine Hughes Wolfe.
He had worked as an inspector at the Kennedy Space Center, and following 17 years of service he left in 1977 following the Apollo flight. He operated a business in Chattanooga.
He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and was a World War II Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Cathryn Hancock Wolfe; two sons, Michael Wolfe, Tallahassee, Fla., Mark Wolfe, Chattanooga; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
