Edith Blondell Ezell, 78, Herndon, died at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, at her home following a long illness.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, with the Revs. Larry Wilson, Robert D. Lawrence, Jack Gordon and Billy Russell officiating.
Burial will be in Flat Lick Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
A native of Trigg County, she was born Aug. 11, 1932, the daughter of the late Walter Elmo Mathis and Mary Mathis Pack.
She was a homemaker and a member of Second Baptist Church.
Her husband, Bryan Ezell, died in 1985.
Survivors include three sons, Ronald Ezell, Bowling Green, Jerry Ezell, Kuttawa, Boyce Ezell, Herndon; a daughter, Rachel Barner, Hopkinsville; a brother, Effrie Mathis, Hopkinsville; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Pennyroyal Hospice or to WNKJ Christian Radio.
