Thomas C. “Buddy” Ballew, 86, of West Paducah died at 10:40 a.m. Friday, January 10, 2014, at Emeritus Assisted Living in Paducah.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He retired after 31 years with the Tennessee Valley Authority. He was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Jane Lookofsky of Paducah; and one granddaughter, Kathryn “Katie” Lookofsky of Athens, Ga.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Priscilla Croft Ballew; one daughter, Patsy Carol Ballew; and three sisters. His parents were Roy and Annie (Hargrove) Ballow.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2014, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Bill Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Eastside Cemetery in Martin, Tenn.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2014, at the funeral home.
