Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Barnhill Sr. Observe Golden Anniversary - 1960

Mr. and Mrs. James Cloyd Barnhill, Sr., who will be married fifty years on January 20, will celebrate the event Sunday, January 17, with an open house from 2 until 5 p.m. at their home on the old Dalton road, where they have lived forty-four of their fifty years.
Mr. Barnhill and the former Blanche Mitchell were married Thursday, January 20, 1910 at the home of the bride's grandfather, the late William T. Baker. The late Dr. James F. Price of Marion performed the ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. Barnhill are the parents of two children, Mrs. Marcus Cowan and James C. Barnhill, Jr., both of whom live near Providence. There are three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
No formal invitations are being issued but friends are invited to call.
