Pearl Evelyn Tyre Brumback, 89, widow of Roy D. Brumback, Versilles, Kentucky, died Monday, September 8, 2003, at her residence. Born in Frankfort, July 31, 1914, she was the daughter of the late James and Estella Hutcherson Tyre. Mrs. Brumback was a retired nurses aide at Taylor Manor Nursing Home and was a member of Versailles Baptist Church. She is survived by four daughters, Barbara (Paul) Richardson of Versailles, Estella (Bernard) Stewart of Chaplin, Janice (Mike) Goodspeed of Dallas, Sandra (Bobby) Thurman of Salvisa; six sons, Jim (Clara) Brumback of Versaills, John (Irene) Brumback of Versailles, Wiley (Norma) Brumback of Lexington, Albert (Marie) Brumback of Versailles, Glen Brumback of Frankfort, and Mike Brumback of Versailles; one sister, Margaret Lester of Versailles; two brothers, Marcus Nash of Frankfort and Victor Nash of Mississippi; twenty-three grandchildren; and twenty great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Roy Brumback Jr. and Steven Darrell Brumback. Funeral services will be held today, September 11, at Duell-Clark Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Woodford County.
