Lowell M. Wiley, 73, Nicholasville, husband of Wanda M. Wiley for 40 years, died Friday, August 13, 2010 at the Hospice Care Center. He received a BA Degree in English from UK in 1992. He was a retired corporate pilot, flight instructor and had attained the rank of Major in the Civil Air Patrol. He recently received the Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award for 50 years of flight safety. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl S. and Edith M. Wiley and one brother, Earl Sherman Wiley. He is survived by two daughters, Erika Kline (Michael) and Michell King (Jonathan); five grandsons, Matthew, nathan and Zachary Kline, Toby Wiley and Justin King; three brothers, Louis Wiley of Brandenburg, Donald Wiley of Brookville, Ohio and Ronald Wiley (Bernice) of Freehold, New Jersey. Visitation 4-8 Monday at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. Service to be held on Tuesday at 12:30 at the Lexington Seventh Day Adventist.
