No I'm afraid that name is not familiar to me. My grandfather's father was born in Ouachita Co, (Camden) AR. I have traced them back to Monroe, Ouachita Parish, LA and before that I have a suspicion that they came from Mobile, AL

I have met, through the Rootsweb, some Peveytoes that I think I am related to...they have traced their line also to Monroe, LA. If you are related to that line then you and I are most likely "cousins".

I would love to hear back from you if you can trace your line to the Monroe area. You may have already been in touch with them also.
