Philippe SAUCIER (1747-1820), son of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix, married Marie Louise NICAISE (1765-1840) about 1784 in Hancock County Mississippi. Marie was the daughter of Jean Baptiste NICAISE (1705-1768) and Marie MIOT/MIOU ( 1731- ?). They had 9 children:

Marie Louise “Margaret” SAUCIER (nee NICAISE), wife of Philippe SAUCIER, left a will dated 24 Dec 1836. The original French was translated by Julius C Monet for W S Evans the Probate Clerk of Harrison County, MS in August 1846. "I declare that I have been legally married in Mobile with Philippe Saucier deceased about sixty years ago...I have had nine children... I have this day here set my hand and seal at Wolf River the 24 th day of December in the year of our Lord 1836, in the presence of J C Monet, B Dedeaux, and Henry Saucier."
