In info I posted in 2008 came from ancestry.com which is a pay source and worth it. Next best source is familysearch.org all you have to do is register it is free.
If you live in Louisiana, there are Hebert's South Louisiana records, Southwest Louisiana Records, Diocese of Baton Rouge & New Orleans Diocese books.
