Hi I am back with some more info on the family.

On the 1880 Census and 1900, I see the census
mispelled your last name. In the 1870 Census it is spelled
correctly as Carmouche.

1870 Census , Donaldsonville, Ascension, La

Pierre Carmouche, born 1820, age 50, born LA, mulatto
Adele Carmouche, born 1830, age 40, born LA
children:
Philomina age 12, Lacreix,age 9 born La ( that has to be Pierre L born in 1867), Elizaeth age 6, Eve age 3

#everybody born in LA.
