My dad said his family lived at Enola Plantation after it was abandoned during the depression. They were homesteaders and were forced to leavd, then it was boarded up. I would love to have a photograph of Enola if you have one. He worked the sugar cane fields when he was 10 years old. His family also talked about Little Texas.
