Seeking any information related to the Oakley Plantation in Assumption Parish. Would love to know the names of the families related to this sugar plantation/refinery. I know the Oakley buildings no longer exist but I would like to know where the property sits in Assumption or what other plantations/refineries are nearby currently or in the past.
