Looking for Elizabeth Coonce Franks, married John Franks 1836, Claiborne/Bienvile Parish

Hello,

I am looking for information about my several times great grandmother, Elizabeth C. Franks. I have found her name written as Elizabeth Coonce, but cannot verify the source. Our records say she married John Franks in 1836; John's family arrived in Natchitotches County sometime after 1813, and lived there well after it became Bienville Parish. John and Elizabeth relocated to Arkansas briefly, but came back to Louisiana, then settled in Van Zandt County a couple of years before the Civil War. John died in 1860, and Elizabeth in 1863. Their oldest daughter, Frances "Franky" Franks, was a twin; I have not been able to find records about the fate of her twin sister after 1860 and believe she, too, may have died during the Civil War.

Census records indicate Elizabeth C. Franks was born in Tennessee ca. 1819, and I have found the Christopher Columbus Koonce family who came from Tennessee with children about that age. But I have not been able to connect our Elizabeth to them. Christopher's mother's maiden name was Franks, so this makes me hopeful that there is a tie there, if I can make the connections to suss it out.

Any ideas or help is appreciated.

Thank you!
