There are two Tooke cemeteries not far from each other. The first one, that Mr. Byrd visited, is the African American cemetery. You can find it on findagrave here:

There are only 3 burials listed here right now, but I know there are many more, as I have visited it. The second one is where the Shehees and Tookes are at and you can find it on findagrave here:

I photographed every stone there and added them to this one. This cemetery is in the process of being restored, and many of the old unreadable stones have been replaced with newer stones. There is a large pile of the old stones piled up in the woods next to the cemetery.
