I overlooked this because of the misspelling of the last name. did you see anything that may have mentioned the actual names of his parents? or what city/town in texas they came from? My grandfather frank passed away in 1978 there in shreveport. I haven't been able to find his sister(I assume), harriet. My grandmother, flora passed away in 980, but she had remarried to a man with the last name of casey, but so far I can't find out what is first name was. I think her parents were Jordan/Jordon Sherman from stonewall and her mother was Lilly/Leola Griffin still looking for their parents and where they came from.
