Clifton Shoumaker

LONGVIEW, TEXAS --- Services for Mr. Clifton Shoumaker, 59, of Longview, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 8 at Rose-Neath's Bossier City Chapel. The Rev. Allen Crook, pastor of Swan Lake Baptist Church in Bossier City, will officiate. Burial will be at Plain Dealing Cemetery, Plain Dealing, La.

Mr. Shoumaker died Tuesday, November 5, 1985, in Longview. He was born in Monroe, La. and had been a resident of Longview most of his life. Mr. Shoumaker was custodian at Pine Tree School in Longview.

He is survived by his mother, Vergie M. Shoumaker, of Benton; four sons, James Shoumaker and Robert Stalvey, of Bossier City, Jerry Shoumaker of Shreveport, La. and Alan Shoumaker of Marshall, Texas; two daughters, Carol June Crook of Bossier City and Mary Ann Prudhome of Texarkana, Ark.; one sister, Vivian Benson of Benton; three brothers, Roland Shoumaker of Plain Dealing, Berry W. Shoumaker of Longview and J.B. Shoumaker of Bethany; and thirteen grandchildren.
