Norma Lee Hope
Norma Lee Hope, 55, of Benton died Sunday morning at Bossier City General Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Bossier Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Ledbetter, a retired Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Plain Dealing Cemetery.
Mrs. Hope was a native of Rayville and had lived in Benton for 40 years. She was a nurse's aid at Bossier General and a member of First Baptist Church of Benton.
Survivors include her husband, Ennis N. Hope of Benton; three sons, Bobby N. Hope and Milton F. Hope, both of Bossier City, and Glenn W. Hope of Benton; a daughter, Vivian Diane Russel of Benton; a sister, Vivian Benson of Benton; four brothers, Roland Shoumaker of Plain Dealing, Clifton Shoumaker and B.W. Shoumaker, both of Longview, Texas, and J.B. Shoumaker of Beaumont, Texas; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
