Here's a family that could belong to Rebecca (I'm not sure):
In 1850 this family had surname CALLWELL in Bibb Co. AL (family #704), and in 1860 this family had surname COLWELL in Bibb Co. AL (family #704). Rebecca was 8 in 1850 and 18 in 1860 (in these census data). Her parents were Paul and CathArine CAllWELL in 1850, and Daniel and CathErine COLWELL in 1860. In 1850 Rebecca's siblings were John (age 6), James, William, Lavina and Columbus (infant in 1850). In 1860 Rebecca's siblings were John (age 15), James, William, Joseph, and Columbus (age 12). It looks like the same family even though the daddy is Paul in 1850 and Daniel in 1860--but I suppose it is possible that Paul CALLWELL and Daniel COLWELL are two different men (who both had a wife CathArine/CathErine)--seems unlikely.
According to a researcher named Kathy (http://worldconnect.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op...
), a man named Daniel Caldwell married Catherine Lawley, then in 1854 he married Catherine E. Garner in Bibb Co. AL.
