BLACK BAYOU: This old cemetery is on the Vivian-Gilliam highway, about four miles from Vivian. There was a Baptist church beside the cemetery, but it was burned down during a forest fire several years ago. Black Bayou cemetery is uncared for, and many of the markers are of native stone.
