Very interesting! I did not know the Ireland part. I live in Copperfield, around Highway 6 & Highway 290. I would love to get together sometime and see your Ryan related "stuff." I have half the geneology - the part that includes me and old family photos. I think I have a picture of James Ira Ryan. He would be my maternal Great, Great. I think that because I am nearly positive he is sitting next to George Edward, my great. What a salty dog George Edward was. It's hard to believe I am related to this guy. The pictures of him are cartoonish. He was a flaming alcholic which made him hard to deal with & my mother said he got worse, after he quit drinking.
