I'm looking for any info on my gggrandfather, Anthony (Antoine) Roach (Roche), who was in Catahoula Parish beginning in about 1815. He married Mary Doyal, daughter of John L. Doyal and Leticia Gray Doyal in about 1818. He died in 1830, and is listed in the 1820 and 1830 US Census for Catahoula Parish. He's listed as a Pvt. in the War of 1812, LA 10th & 20th consolidated militia. He was born about 1792 in France, according to 1880 census info for his son, David Roach (my ggrandfather). We have no info on his parents, how he got to LA, where he came from, etc. Any help would be appreciated.
